Biography
I’ve been a mineral exploration geophysicist for over 25 years, with field experience in 20 countries on six continents, including eight years spent as an expat in Mexico, Chile, and Australia where I was involved in seafloor exploration for massive sulphide deposits, and so I have experience in marine, terrestrial, and airborne geophysics.
In 2015 I moved from Teck Resources Limited, where I was Chief Geophysicist, to Anglo American plc to leverage my experience and broaden my expertise in production- and operation-oriented geophysics in the mining environment, a learning path I am still on today.
I have a B.Sc. in Geological Engineering and an M.Eng. in Geophysics, both from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
I am a registered Professional Engineer in British Columbia, Canada, a Director of Spectrem Air Pty and President of IAGSA, the International Airborne Geophysics Survey Association. I live in Vancouver.
