Biography
Manish is a registered Professional Natural Geoscientist with 18 years of experience in mineral Exploration in a spectrum of commodities Iron Ore, Uranium, Coal, Base and Battery metals, Titanium, and Diamonds from grassroots to discovery.
He started his career with De Beers India in 2004; moved to South Africa to work for De Beers in 2007. During his stay with De Beers, Manish worked extensively in central and southern Africa and Russia and was involved in developing the SQUID magnetic tensor system.
In 2011 Manish joined Rio Tinto generative team in Africa-Eurasia region and was involved in the delivery of new opportunities through Target generation and technical reviews with a focus on Battery metals and Copper. Manish has a keen interest in applying and developing new technologies for mineral exploration, since 2019, has been working on developing a UAVE magnetic gradiometer system. He is currently Africa Eurasia regional geophysicist.
Manish has also been an active member of SAGA and served as the vice president in 2018-19.
