Biography

Sean is employed at the Petroleum Agency SA as a Geologist since 2003. He holds a Master degree in Hydrogeology from the University of the Western Cape. Sean has 15 plus years’ experience in petroleum geology and has worked on various offshore basins in South Africa; the West Coast Orange basin, the South Coast Pletmos basin and extensively along the East Coast, Durban & Zululand basins.

Sean is involved with numerous other collaboration projects; he was part of the Working Groups on South Africa’s Pilot Project on Carbon Capture and Storage and a current member of the South African Code for the Reporting of Oil & Gas Resources committee.
