Presentation Guidelines
All oral and poster presentations are expected to be live on site. Please ensure your presentation is scientific and not too commercial. There is no specified template for both oral and poster presentations. There are, however, a few guidelines to follow:
Oral Presentations
- 15 min in total are allocated to oral presentations (10 min talk, 5 min questions)
- Your presentation needs to be in .ppt using the standard 16:9 ratio (landscape)
- Please include the conference logo on your PowerPoint slides
Please rehearse your presentation to make sure you don’t go over the allocated time slot given! Presentations (.ppt) need to be uploaded to your session room’s computer before the start of the session – ideally during the Welcome Function on 28 November 2022 (P.S. Don’t forget to bring a usb stick).
ePoster Presentations
- 15 min are allocated to poster presentations
- Your presentation needs to be in .ppt using the standard 16:9 ratio (landscape)
- IMPORTANT – 1 slide, no animation.
- Please include the conference logo slide and your abstract number on your poster
This year posters be displayed on 50″ UHD screens around the venue. There is therefore no need to print your posters (no display facilities will be made available for hard copies). All posters must be submitted to abstracts@sagaconference.co.za by submitted by Thursday, 24th November 2022 as ePosters following the above specified format and guidelines.
Important Reminder: For all presentations, please make sure your abstract number is on the first page (and the last page for oral presentations). This is to identify your presentation for voting purposes. You will find your abstract number on the Technical Programme.
