BIOGRAPHY

Wesley Harrison, Ph.D., is a Senior Geophysicist at SRK Consulting with over eight years of experience in the field of geophysics. He holds a Ph.D. in Geophysics from the University of Witwatersrand and has a distinguished academic record, marked by numerous awards and scholarships. Dr. Harrison’s expertise lies in the application of electrical and electromagnetic geophysical methods for a variety of purposes, including groundwater and mineral exploration, geotechnical studies, and infrastructure investigations. He has made significant contributions to the field, particularly in the enhancement and development of fundamental mathematical equations that have facilitated the integration of distinct electrical and electromagnetic data sets. This has enriched the overall quality of geophysical data available for exploration, geotechnical studies, and modelling. In addition to his work with electrical and electromagnetic methods, Dr. Harrison is proficient in a variety of other geophysical methods such as electrical resistivity imaging, gravity, magnetic, seismic reflection/tomography, magnetotelluric, and ground-penetrating radar. He has also adeptly handled multispectral and radar satellite data to address diverse engineering challenges.
