Your tour guide will meet you in the foyer of the Lagoon Beach Hotel to introduce themselves, share their personal Franschhoek story, and set the tone for the day ahead.

Your first stop is at Colmant where passion for the tradition and the excellence of impeccably crafted Cap Classique wines is grounded in their dedication to bubbly lovers. They produce some of South Africa’s premier Méthode Cap Classique’s (MCC). These bubbles are made using the same method as Champagne. A boutique, family-owned winery, it offers an intimate and relaxed experience.

The second tasting venue selection will be at the discretion of your local Franschhoek guide based on the group’s preferences and tastes or any one of the firm favourites in the region.

After the morning tasting experiences, you will enjoy a stop for lunch (for own account) at one of the local favourites before your final tasting for the day at Black Elephant, which describes itself as “Misfits of the Wine Industry”. They are eclectic, fun, creative and very good at making wine and bubbly. Not afraid to take risks and try something different, their tastings are always a fun and a memorable experience.

New Interpretation Methods
The mines of tomorrow are hidden beneath layers of sedimentary cover or nestled as subtle extensions to known deposits. While traditional airborne geophysics excel in detecting metal deposits near the surface, they struggle when encountering deeper targets or non-magnetic geological trends.

Exploration teams seek to deploy high-resolution technologies on surveys with closely spaced lines or stations covering extensive areas. These surveys should capture a broad signal bandwidth to map the deeper extensions and connectivity with shallow structures effectively.
