PRESENTATION GUIDELINES
There are three types of presentations:
- Oral presentations
- Poster presentations
- Innovation posters
For the first two options, authors are requested to submit a well elaborated extended abstract (~2 pages) or a longer paper format using the provided template. The primary difference between an extended abstract and paper is that the author will likely only receive research credits for a paper and not for an extended abstract, even though both submissions will be peer reviewed.
For the ‘Innovation Poster’ option, authors are requested to submit a one (max 2) page including a figure or image/graphic using the provided template. Such innovation abstracts will be oriented technologies and solutions at any Technological Readiness Levels. They are as such expected to be more commercial in nature. But they can’t be solely a promotional material. Acceptance or otherwise of abstracts will be done at the sole discretion of the Organising Committee whose decision is final. The posters will be displayed in the Special Session ‘Innovations & Investment Alley’ at the conference venue. The main author, or her/his nominated party, of an accepted abstract will be presented with the opportunity to also present a 5 min ‘Speed Talk’ of her/his innovation.
In order to allow for a fair peer review process, authors are requested to submit by 30 April 2026. If papers are submitted after the deadline, they might be considered for poster only at the discretion of the Organising Committee whose decision is final.
Authors will be notified within one month of whether their submission has been accepted.
Abstracts are to be submitted as Microsoft Word documents using the SAGA specified formats only.
The abstract templates are available for download to assist you in this task. All authors are requested to use this template and adhere to the guidelines – failure to do so will result in rejection of the abstract or request for resubmission.
- For Oral and Poster Presentations – Abstracts must be a minimum of two pages and a maximum of six pages, including figures.
- For Innovation Posters – Abstracts must be one to max 2 pages including a figure or image/graphic.
- Abstracts must be text, in English, with legible graphics embedded.
- Abstracts must be submitted as a .doc or .docx file only. Documents will be converted to pdf once submitted.
- Use the following naming convention for the submitted file: [SAGA2026]_[SurnameFirstInitial]_[Title]_[Oral/Poster/Innov].doc (or .docx)
