Tour Itinerary
Scheduled Departures Monday 12 October 2026 at 08h00 From Lagoon Beach Hotel. Your tour guide will meet you in the foyer of the Lagoon Beach Hotel to introduce themselves and set the tone for the day ahead.
Travel along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay, to Hout Bay, a quaint village and fishing harbour with magnificent mountain views and beach. Continue via Chapman’s Peak, one of the world’s most breath-taking coastal drives, to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point which is perceived to be the meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. Ride the Cape Point funicular to the lighthouse (optional extra) or if you’re feeling up to it, enjoy a gentle hike and enjoy the views from this vantage point.
Go on to historic Simon’s Town, a village with charming Victorian architecture and a naval base. A lunch stop is made nearby (lunch for own account) before a stop at the large penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach.
Boulders Penguin Colony is home to a growing colony of the vulnerable African Penguin. Wooden walkways allow visitors to view the penguins in their natural habitat.
The day will either start or end with a tour of Table Mountain (weather dependant) for you to enjoy panoramic views over the Mother City and Robben Island lying sleepily in the Table Bay .
Return to Lagoon Beach Hotel in the early evening.
